Mr. Schlesinger received a B.A. degree from Ursinus College in 1984 and a J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1987.   Mr. Schlesinger attended law school at Rutgers University School of Law-Newark from 1986 through 1987.   Mr. Schlesinger is a member of the Bars of New York (1988), and Florida (1998); and is  admitted to practice before U.S. District Courts for New Jersey (1987), Eastern District of New York (1988), and Southern District of New York (1993). 

Prior to opening his own firm in 2004, he was a partner at the New York law firm, Rosen and Reade, and then a partner of Miami law firms, Ferrell Schultz and Kluger Peretz Kaplan and Berlin.

The focus is corporate advice, probate and business litigation as well as real estate litigation.
